the template had been drawn out for the trim piece, just needs to be cut out

because the boxes are a tad bit different sizes, we did 4 holes and going to bolt it together and bolt it to the frame of the truck, that way making it a somewhat common chamber box

pretty solid boxes, going to be another layer of wood on the front of the box too so it will be a little stronger

I'm really liking it dude. I can't wait to hear this thing. The bracing is definitely something unique.

well we actually coulda had it playing yesterday afternoon, but it didnt feel like rushing everything in there, i want some time to test and tune it, had the box in and bolted down, but i just undid the bolts taking it to our other store to get tint on the back windows so you cant see the box and such

box with front cover piece on, you can see some bondo in few places, the bearing came off the flush bit on the router and started eating in to the wood, its perfect now though

back side, all the corners are sanded down to be a little easier to fit in, because its a photo finish on the top box

i thought i had pics of the front of the box in my truck, guess not

on final stretch now, trying to figure out what i want to use as cover, im thinking maybe vinyl, might just stick with color matched carpet

Yeah, Ive had my wall in for about a week now. It definitely takes some getting used to. I am going to have to buy those round blind spot stick on mirrors for my side mirrors as I have no side vision except out the front doors. I hate those things...but I have to do something. I just got a touchscreen flip out as well so I need to buy a backup camera for that.

It's definitely a challenge!

how hard was it to get the box in there?

my box was 19cubes gross, like 16 net, its a tight fit

im assuming with it being a truck you have some decent size mirrors, the ones on my explorer arnt that big, but i can still look out my back door windows to see some, but not behind me

I had to build it in the truck unfortunately. I have a build log in here somewhere.

competition went good, a good turnout, had a little parking trouble, just wasnt big enough

was fun though

havnt really got anythign done since then, tomorrow will have some good updated pics, grabbed the vinyl today, got as close as i could to my factory interior color, pretty dang close in person

also got my back windows tinted saturday so you cant see the amps or box, i dont see how people could drive around with it that dark on all windows, would be hard as hell at night

also got all the wires ran there, just have to mount the amps and go, wires are pretty organized, just thrown about now,also picking up my 2 Deka intimidators g31's tomorrow for the rear, have another new deka up fornt i got like a week ago, havnt installed it yet thought

edit: also my whole car is covered in mdf dust, leave it to me to grab the only vacuum in the whole shop that is messed up, what ever it sucks in comes right out the other side at full blast...only i didnt learn this until i cleaned out the whole box...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
