I dunno. They put that thing in a car in pimp my ride and it was shaking things off the shelves at the store across the street. Numbers wise they get louder but theres gotta be sumthin to that 400lbs.

If you're judging anything on the Jackhammer's performance based off that pimp my ride show, well then... lol

Seriously, that show is a joke, that episode was a horrid joke, the install was terrible, and the performance was shockingly bad (mid 130's iirc).

I don't think we should say that the install on "pimp my ride" was terrible cus' the purpose of that show is not the performance or the loudness... it is only the "cool looking" factor of the install.

And i don't think that the guy who received the jackhammer and the other stuff is unhappy at all because of low spl performance.

But you're right with all that stuff that he got he could make better numbers.

It was terrible, period. The show is full of idiots and that episode was one of the worst. This board isn't about making your car audio 'cool looking', its about making it perform. So no, I wont be cutting that show any slack. Its lousy, its full of people who know nothing but what their sponsors tell them to say, and they aren't even intelligent enough to realize how piss-poor 135db really is. I could pull that score with a mild 12" subwoofer.
