Bad situation need forum advice...

Thats what I miss about texas, I dont know how many times ive been pulled over with as much alcohol as 15 kegs in the bed of my truck...they always let us go with a warning and let us keep the beer. College towns FTW.

the case was in the car on campus, i didnt do anythign and either time i wasnt intoxicated. The car smelled bad from the night before, since i was transferring schools my friends decided to get a pretty big amount of weed maybe about 3/4 of an oz and we smoked it in the car the day before, so the car smelled and prob still does. I havent been in trouble for anything like this before. Im not worried to much bout the weed charges thy are both minor misdemeanors while the other ones are M1s for the alcohol. And yea i for sure learned a lesson from this and prob will never smoke weed again or if i do go no where near a car. And honestly if i was smoking when the cop pulled me over i would of looked stoned or eyes would of been red. He didnt even ask if we were smoking just asked if there was stuff in the car. I actaully had not smoked weed that entire day. The cop didnt even give me a field test or anything

So the other day i got in trouble for having a bowl and alcohol in my car, since im 19 i got in trouble for the case of beer too. The cops apparently looked through my car when i wasnt there through the windows with flashlights and saw the beer so they searched the car and found the bowl. The previous day the car was smoked in so it did still smell like weed and the bowl in there prob wasnt helping, so the 2 cops searched the car for about 10 mins got all the alcohol and weed out i presumed...So i got charged with prohibitions and paraphanalia.The following day i go drive my car thinking that everythin was found. My car still kinda smelled like weed but i thought that was because we smoked in it and it would eventually just wear away.

So Im driving trying to follow mapquest directions i was about to pass up a street so i flipped my turn signal on slowed down and went across 2 lanes to get in the turning lane. Then about 2 mins later a cop pulls me over. Now the day before i was charged with all that stuff the cop was like is there anything illegal in the car that i should give him. I thought that there wasnt so he said he was gonna bring a dog. The dog started to bark and they searched the car for about 30 mins. They found a single can of beer and a roach in the car. Now i got a ticket for changing lanes, possession and a summons for the can of beer and then they let me go. So now i got 5 tix in about 2 days. Ive never been in trouble before cept getting an auto ticket.

So what advice or what would you do in my sitiuation, my court date is thursday and friday this week. So any help would really help me. I know i learned a lesson from this whole situation so please no say any of that and please tryna give some helping advice for the situation.

Please tell us the whole story.

Dogs dont come out unless you refuse to let them search the car. Or if you will not allow them access to a certain area of the car. Do you frequent suspicious neighborhoods or something? If you are going to tell us the story, please tell us the whole thing.

THis is how it went i believe.

COp:.....License and registration sir..

you...........Uhm why am i being pulled over?

cop......License and registration sir

you......I don't have it.

cop...... Step out of the car.

you......what did I do?

cop.....get out of the car.

you......I didnt do anything

cop.......well if you didnt do anything you don't mind if i search

you.....ok

*cop...... Is that pot i smell?

You..... nope

cop.... do you have dope in the car?

you......hell no.

cop..... I'm gonna contact the K-9 unit

you....****

cop.......What's this??? A roach? you had me go through all of this for a lil piece of weed? You're under arrest. Get your dumb *** in the car. 2 times in 2 nights? May God have mercy on your ***.

you just have bad luck. I get guns drawn on my car because of the tinted windows all of the time. Never once got asked to get out of my car. There has to be something on your record. A warrant, an arrest for this same thing or something.

After the response "What did I do", I would have been dragged out of the car for resisting.

i havent been in trouble since i was 15 and that is off my record and that was for having a cigarette not weed and that was dropped. No the car still prob honestly smelled from smoking in it the previous night since its cloth interior, that is the entire story. If i was smoking in the car when i got pulled over i would got a dui or dwi i assume. They asked me if there was anythign illegal in the car prob because thy pulled up my record and saw the pending charges. So i assumed the cops found everything that night other then maybe a little shake that was on the ground which they didnt find shake either. Just a 1/2'' roach that some dumbass apparently dropped. But yea believe me im not dumb enough to smoke in a car the day after i got in trouble fo r it

I get that because I have no windows on the driver's side.

lol they actually brought out the dogs? everytime i've called a cop on that they were bullshitting...

you get one get out of jail free card (i used mine) basically as long as the jduge agrees - youl get like a year probation and as long as your good it will get wiped from your record.

and also i got off from being arrested once cause a cop searched my car for speeding and found some pot - but speeding isnt a reason to search a car - charges thrown out FTW =)

but once you said it was ok for them to search your car - you're fkd

and whatever you do don't plead guilty

get a lawyer and plea it down to something less.. if you plead guilty they're gonna **** you... they arent wanna goto trial over something so trivial... so you can probaly talk them down and they will probaly lesson th charges/punishment and then plead guilty to that
