I think @adulbrich said it best when it came to electric cars....far worse than reg gasoline engine vehicles.
At this stage in the game, yes. I think people who drive electric cars are idiots.

It took lots fossil fuel to:
1. Mine ores for the car from the ground with heavy equipment
2. Transport the ore to a refinery
3. Energy was used at the refinery to smelt the metal
4. Transport metal (and other materials) to factory.
5. Obviously the factory uses electricity (mostly from coal power plants) and natural gas.
6. Transportation to the dealership on a car hauler
7. Unless your power grid is nuclear or hydroelectric, you're still using fossil fuels!! Also, if you are using electricity to charge your car from a coal burning power plant, you're way less energy efficient than a gas/diesel vehicle from an energy standpoint!!! Plus it's more expensive and range is limited.

Don't forget how "environmentally friendly" the batteries or the rare earth magnets end up being. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/graduate.gif.d982460be9f153bb54e5d4cb744f6ae8.gif

I would take a Tesla P100d anyday...
I wouldn't act like this dumb **** thinking I'm saving the planet though....
Yeah a Tesla P100D is pretty damn sexy. Maybe for my mid-life crisis....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fro.gif.c695f1f814b01c4ad99fe7f8cccadd29.gif

My Leaf may not beat 2.3 sec in a 0-60 dash but it still out accelerates most I ever stop at a red light with!

Electric cars are garbage. Ahead of it's time. There will always be gasoline cars on the road more than electric cars.
Keep telling yourself that as more and more 100% electric start being used and gas prices get really bad!

And I was among THE FIRST! :)

And you can keep repeating yourself saying there's gonna be more electric cars on the road when in REALITY...there isn't. Not gonna happen.....beat a dead horse all you want.

There's a reason not everyone has an electric car.

Think people know something you don't? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

I haven't been beaten off a light yet, even racing another liter bike.

^^Oh I doubt that. Electric cars aren't meant for street racing.
The thing is they have near their full torque instantly. They're very different than gasoline and diesel vehicles.
