ok i have a pair of new dekas that would work great they are 105 amp hours each batt thats stronger than kinetik hc2000's

I've used auto zone deep cycle batteries with good results. I'd use 2 additional batteries for a 3K amp. IMO you really don't get 3X the performance for 3X the money.

Sears Die Hard Platinum is same as Odysee battery for a bit less money, a good performer with a good warranty.

Don't get me wrong, the best technology AGM batteries are better performance... just like a 30$ cigar is better than a 10$ cigar, but probably not 3X the price worth better.

I've had some pretty nasty $30 cigars and some pretty tasty $5 cigars. I'll stick to my Black N Milds though. As far as your electrical question goes, I'd definitely say the HO alternator is definitely going to make a bigger difference than a high performance battery. When all is said and done, the alternator is ultimately what's going to prevent voltage drops, not the battery. If the alternator can't keep up with what the engine and your amps require for power, your power is going to start to come from the battery. Right there you're going to have an approximate 2 volt drop. After you hit that 2 volt drop, a stronger battery will help you to not go much lower than that 2 volt drop.

You're probably not going to find a good HO alt for that price. Most start out a little less than double that.

for 3000 watts sound only need a 220 amp right 220x14.4 or go 250-270 just to be safe?
