Audioque AQ20... need some suggestions

I'm kind of offended that on their site it says "If you are asking about how low a load the AQ20 will run, you probably don’t know enough to use the amplifier." Cheeky bastards! I need to know if this amp can run a .5 ohm load without an issue AND still be covered under factory warranty, or maybe they can make me a special one that does at least 7000 watts RMS at 2 ohms.

Also how's this amp compared to the American Bass VFL1100.1? Price vs. power vs. reliability that is. It'll be running four 12" Solo-Xs all dual 4 ohms, hopefully it'll make them beg for mercy hahah.

Buying an amp that big is asking for trouble. Probably like all the other Far East amps that size it's the same driver card as the 2000W model trying to operate 10X as many FETs as it's designed to.

I doubt you want to run an amp like that daily and I suspect with enough batteries it'll burp at pretty much any nominal load you can hook it up to with more or less the same rate of failure as any other load.

I think this is pretty much what they mean by that statement. "Burp it at abusive impedence loads and expect to blow it up now and then...when you do we'll claim you didn't have enough batteries or ran to too low an impedence"

Well I'm not gonna be using it for burps... music all day long. I'm going to buy one new from them so I know it hasn't been abused. Voltage will be kept up to at least 12v with the engine running so none of that "let's see if it'll run at 10v" crap, in fact the lowest voltage I've ever ran an amp down to is 11v with an US Amps USA-2000X.

By reliable I mean it needs to work for at least a few years because it is going into a summer show car and my buddy wants to take it to SPL comps every now and then(not burps, just pound music), and again we shouldn't have voltage issues once everything is installed.
