AQ 12 box help

I am looking for the air space needed for 1 SDC2.5 12. I am not seeing it on soundqubed website, also need basket displacement. This is for my daily driver a 2003 dodge neon. Wanting a clean sound and am looking at a AQ 1200 for power. Thanks the help.

2.5-3^3 net. Displacement is around .12 I believe, should be close enough.

What are goals for the setup? SDC's have a pretty low Fs, so 35hz tuning is as low as I'd go.

I am looking for better and louder sound from this system that I will improve over time such as replacing coax with componets and adding a second sub. For now i am building a box for the one sub slot ported to be and universal in that i can put it behind the back seat or on either side of the trunk to figure out what works best. I have come up with a 33 wide 15 tall and 12.5 deep with a slot port of 13.5 tall 4 wide and 33.37 long based on 3ft^3 @ 35Hz.

i build alot of boxes that size and by looking at your dimensions im pretty sure that wont be near 3 cubes after you deduct the port area. i didnt use a box calc but just seems small with a big, long port, i may be wrong.

I messed up when I wrote this it should be 33 wide 15 tall and 14 deep.

you don't need 3cubes net anyway, can do 2.5 assuming you have room for that. And tune a few hz higher if that helps free up a little more volume...
