Any problem bridging an amp into 8 ohms?

Im just saying that if i buy a nice amp that says it will do 1250 watts, it **** well better do more than that or dont print me out a nice neat fancy piece of paper saying exactly the same thing i already knew... impress me or dont waste my time..

You realize that out of an entire day, your amp probably did worse than 98% of all the other amps of the same model? That amp is drenched in a underachivement nexus and should probably be destroyed in a fire or something.

hey...rated at 1250 @ 1ohm, and it does 1251 @ 1ohm

you should be so proud of your little guy.. 1 extra watt.. thats all he can do for you... 1 over the ****ing minimum... ID BE FURIOUS AT IT.

why the hell do I need more, and with the 2 I have (strappable) they are rated at 2000wrms @ 2ohm

best part is I picked them both up for $300

It will be fine bridged at 8 ohms, giving the sub about 450 w rms.

My point is: you shouldn't be OK with the 1 extra watt... you should call and complain to the company, write your congressman or something.

With gas prices threw the roof, the economy in the toilet, and the cost of living getting higher, the LEAST they could do is give you alittle more than 1 extra watt in your car amplifier.. If they wont, they could atleast not give you a certificate stating the fact that your amplifier, if personified, would ride the short bus to school everyday, "Barely making the minimum"

That sheet of paper is alittle like jerking off without the big finish.... I say destroy it. Youll be better off in the long run.

it says right there in the white circle i made that it does 958 total rms@ 2 ohm all channels combined.

so it just said it will do 958 at 2 ohm bridged.

so why won't it??

incorrect. The amp does that power when adding both channels in stereo at 2 ohms. It's rockfords complicated way of saying "4 ohm mono"
