Any problem bridging an amp into 8 ohms?

I have my little Fosgate punch 150 "25 to life" sitting on a shelf (953w RMS) collecting dust and saw those ED 13Kv.2 dual 4 ohm (500w rms)for $50..

Any problems bridging that amp into 8 ohms? would give me around 484 into the sub with very little distortion correct? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

Probably a stupid question. Thanks.

isn't the 9 hundred whatever a peak rating for that amp though:confused:
na... its like 3000 peak..

I dont have mine scanned, but heres one for comparison

i would do two ohm too. the sub is prolly a lil over i would run it at too and keep the gains down.

better to have over head power and keep the gains down than have it at a higher ohm with the gains all the way up

I understand that, but the amp isn't designed to run at 2 ohms bridged.

^^^^those ratings are confusing BTW....
958 total rms @ 2ohm.....what does this mean since it is a 2 channel? each channel does 459?
2 ohms stereo = 4 ohms Mono... The way i understand it. Notice how it says all channels COMBINED, sounds like bridged to me..

i agree, confusing.
