Any problem bridging an amp into 8 ohms?

It will run two stereo. Four ohms bridged. It may be stable to two ohms bridges but why risk it when you dont need that much power.

900 whatever watts is for both channels running at 2 ohms. You will get a slightly different amount of power at 4 ohm mono but still close. And you should see mopre than half of that at 8 ohms bridged.

it says right there in the white circle i made that it does 958 total rms@ 2 ohm all channels combined.

so it just said it will do 958 at 2 ohm bridged.

so why won't it??

Im assuming thats both channels @ 2 ohms stereo combined... Should equal 4 ohm mono bridged.

and to think i had this all planned out a few minutes ago.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

why not do it 2 ohm bridged mono?? it is on one sub
1. Because the sub is only 500w RMS

2. Because Fosgate said the amp is only 4 Ohms stable Bridged

3. Cause i dont want to work my amp hard if i dont have too.

Thank you for your help everyone. BTW: These amps kick ***.. Almost 1000 Clean Watts for $200 and a pretty darn efficient for a Class A/B.
