Has anyone used the atomic subs recently? look at an ELE 15....anyone know if it could be a good daily sub? Can get one for a pretty good price but cant fine much info about them. Was also looking at the FI SSD V4.... anyone with any knowledge on these would be great....would go in the back of a dodge magnum running 1500-2000rms.

Just about anything in this car would sound great. From the eBay Atomic ELE descriptions, it sounds like it is a brutal sub. Competition grade plus the 15" size is nothing to sneeze at. You would be hard pressed to be able to mess up a comp sub in a daily rig.

Hand made in the US with top quality coils. They used to be more known years ago but the foreign made overnight internet brands have taken over.

Get one and be different and blow away all of these inefficient cheap chinese subs that need 2-3kw to get moving.

its a 2006 magnum, i'm currently on deployment, but i believe the max area is 39w x 30D x 19H from floor to window. the specs for the subs im looking at 15" ELE ported– 3.25ft3 2(4” ports x 15 ¾” long) (36Hz) F3=65Hz 1000w
4.0ft3 2(4” ports x 11” long) (36Hz) F3=66Hz 1500w (SB)
12" apocalypse ported– 1.5ft3 4” port x 19 ½” long (36Hz) F3=42Hz 800w
2.0ft3 4” port x 12” long (36Hz) F3=39Hz 600w
2.0ft3 2(3” ports x 15” long) (36Hz) F3=38Hz 900w (SB)
maybe even 2 15" apocalypse

Thanks for your input, would you be able to feel the bass more than 1 15?

The 2 12's are more cone area and probably more motor force than the 15, all which equates to more bass.

What's the RMS rating on the two different woofers?
