I talked to the person who was in charge of the parking and I asked to be put in a spot where the camera could see my car. He asked why and I told him "I'm just paranoid." And he did it.

I don't know when you graduated, but as of I think '06 or '07, cameras in and around schools are mandatory. My school had a bunch, with 72 hours of feed on each one. I think maybe even more.

and the camera thing depends on state law. (Non mandatory in Illinois)

a cheap and very easy way to prevent theft is to use a bunch of weird screws.

use hex heads, socket heads, allens, torx anything that most people won't have. They'll see this and freak and leave all your stuff

Or get insurance on it then let them steal it for free and tell them they can keep whatever but to just never mess with it again. Once it gets replaced enjoy your stuff for a few weeks then wait for it to be stolen again
