And so the build begins.... ssackett 12", Sundown, 880prs, PPI 356cs comps.

Looks nice man. I have the same deck, and comps. Try using the auto tuning feature of the deck. It works pretty good imo.

Yeah I did use it. It set my highs too low for me though. I tried setting my crossovers to +3 for the tweets and it sounds better. To me anyways. What amp do you have on those comps?

Lookin' good man! Didn't know your build was this "large"!!!And yeah, trust me, that lil split won't affect anything in a neg. way whatsoever! People just like to point out anything neg. they can find:crazy:!

You'll enjoy the enclosure and that sub/amp combo will do the trick for you in that truck!

Keep up the good work and MORE PICS!!!

It's possible that certain things are pointed out so they can be improved.

At least that split on the brace matche the other split on the side wall.

If you haven't fiberglassed before, glassing those tweets to the sail panels would be a good easy first fg project.

Yeah I thought about it. I really wanted to flush mount them, but I would have had to place them a little lower in the panel, and that would have caused the driver's side tweet to be blocked by the dash.

Glassing them in would help me aim them a little better as well. They arent quite aimed exactly like I want them to be, but they are pretty dang close.

I don't mind things constructively pointed out (constructive criticism).

But some people (like you sometimes) seem to lurk around in other peoples thread TRYING to find negative things to say and/or point out with the intent on nothing positive to say. All this work this guy has done (which may not be the biggest build in the world but I'm SURE he's proud of) and you said nothing positive:emb:!?!? If you did, my apologies.

I'll guarantee there will be NO flexing or "joint"/structural issues or anything dealing with this enclosure;)! He'll be livin' LOUD and proud once that amp is in!!!

OP, is this your first build of this magnitude?!?! If so, EXCELLENT work!!

Yes, this is my first build what so ever. I've had systems in the truck before, but it only consisted of subs/amp/HU. The truck had a system in it when I bought it. (A terrible one). All I did was put new subs and a new amp in and used the wiring that was previously installed. Thanks Vitveet!

Mobileaudio, I LOVE the old squarebody S-10s. I always wanted one with a 350 in it.

For shits and giggles I bridged the 2 rear channels to my sub. So my 1500w rms sub is being pushed by 320 watts. For the power thats pushing it, it shakes the hell out of my truck and I found out I obviously didnt put enough deadener on my outer door skins. They vibrate like crazy.

The last system I had in the truck was 2 CVR 12s off of a Planet Audio 1000w mono. I really need to get my DSC2000 so I can really see what this sub is capable of.
