Amp Recommendation for RE SE 12"

I need an amp to run one RE SE 12" sub. I'm not wanting to spend a lot more than 250. Here are the specs:

i've seen a bunch of good reviews for the cadence TXA-1000D and its right around $199 on ebay //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif. Any other comments or suggestions are welcome

I ran one 12" RE SE off a 2004 Rockford Fosgate T5002 Power Amp, running at 500Wx1 RMS at 2 Ohms. Got it on eBay, new for $350 in 2004.

Later, I ran it off the Infinity 611a Reference at ~720Wx1 RMS at 2 Ohms (per the birth sheet). Got the Infinity for $300 from Best Buy.

The box was per RE Audio's ported design on their website before US Amps redesigned it. I think it was 2.5-3 cubic feet and tuned to 32-34 Hz (I can't remember and I long ago dismantled the box).

I always got the feeling 3 cubic feet was too big. RE's website now says the optimal size for a ported box is 2 cubic feet.

BTW, the new RE wesbsite has a build-your-box calculator. You can tweak a box's dimensions and it'll tell you the net cubic feet and tuning you'll get. it's pretty cool.

Man I used this sub A LOT. I ran it in 2.25ft^3 tuned to 34hz and it rocked off many different amps:

Old school usa150

Rockford power 500d

Memphis 500d

JBL 600.1

kit audio 660.2

and a few more but anything with 500+ true watts will be great.
