Amp problem... phoenix gold mps2500???

This amp was recently just givin to me... i dont know too much about it except it was hardly used,its an older amp, and it pushed 2 jl audio15w4's when they cam out. i think this amp was released in 1994 or somewhere. my question....is this a good amp to power 2 JL Audio 10w3v1-d2s? if not let me know why or what to use.
