American bass xfl question

1500 watt rms amp
what net airspace and port tuning would you start with
also how many inches of port would you use

I'm guessing around 2.5 net tuned between 32 hz. and 35 hz. Ported.

Anything from 2-2.75ft³ tuned 30-38hz

I’d personally do 2.25-2.5 @ 30-32 hz with something like 14-16 in^2 per cube of port area. Port area depends on both tuning and box size. Figure out how low you want to play and go from there.

I have 2 of them in around 2.5 cubes per sub, tuned to around low 30s Hz.

I think.its tuned a little low. Really low frequencies hit thick and loud, but a lot of regular music is less powerful as it's higher frequency bass.

I think I'd like mine tuned a little higher. I don't listen to any decaf, rebassed stuff.
