If you work together, thats great. I didn't accuse you of scamming. in fact i said that I hope nobody got ripped off. but this thread shows that it's not crazy for me to ask that he ships first. W7's are probably the most scammed sub, and he was offering a good price, with nothing to say he's legit. It wasn't a risk I wanted to take.

It works both ways, is it fair for him to get my money while he still has the product? I posted this due to you jumping down my throat on what I (along with many others) thought was an appropriate way to handle the sale. Like I originally said, I don't care if he doesn't want to send it that way, no sweat for me. if he does, great. he gets his money, and I get my sub. Both of us are happy.

I'm sorry, but you have to admit that the standard protocol for buying something, even online, is to hand over your money first. If it would have been 50% now 50 later or COD that would be understandable, but just shipping off a perfectly good woofer for nothing?

Several people say they would request someone to ship first, then ok, but I wouldn't ever ask that of anyone.

And I was referring to someone else about accusing him of scamming, but it doesn't look good when you are linking this in his for sale thread trying to discredit him, unless you had some other motive for that.

Just because you would not ask to ship first doesn't mean others would not. My most recent trade was with someone new to the forum. He shipped 1st because I have refs

Thats coincidence, this is perfectly logical. We work in same building and the whole building routes through the same public IP. All it does is add some proof that we know each other IRL.....

and why are you so touchy about this dudes sale? If he wanted to do half and half, COD, whatever, why didn't he come out and say it? why was it you who got in between the sale and put your two cents in? I would probably do COD, but that costs money, and it would be at his expense. This way is free, and he takes the risk of not getting money, but seriously, i am on this site like 4-5 times a day. I have over 20 transactions on this forum alone...

maybe i'm too demanding of people that I sell to, but I don't ask them anything that I wouldn't do myself. I have shipped things first when I was the newcomer. After I have built a reputation of being an honest and reputible seller/buyer I only expect that of someone else that I am dealing with.

I didn't get in the middle of your sale, as a matter of fact I asked him if he would mind if I sent the PM before I did, because he found it insulting as well.

The reason this all irritates me is that I am the one that told him to come here and sell the stuff, because I have good luck for the most part buying and selling here. Then crap like this happens.

This isn't all about you Pat, its just that some people around here expect some things that I think are over the top because they have a bunch of "refs". I have visited this and many other boards for years and have seen many times the people with good refs rip someone off and disappear, it happens.

^^this is more of who should give an apology. Your poor understanding of ip addressing lead you to wrongly conclude that someone is a scammer, congratulations.

Well, I would like to save as much space back there as possible, and I thought a 10 would require less RMS however I did notice that the FiQ has the same rms for a 10 and a 12. Also, I read once that rock music sounds better with a 10 but that seems hard to believe.

the size thing is a total myth.

Fi Q's have the same motor for all sizes so they have the same thermal power power handling, a lot of subs are like that. I do own one of those though and they do sound very good.

zebo, you need to understand he was asking for your friend to ship first due to the increase of scamming on this specific forum. Its gotten bad recently, and he didnt want it to happen to him. If you and your boyfriend have a problem with what he requests, theny stop being a pu ssy and simply negotiate with him. But when you freak out the way you did, no one is gonna wanna do deals with you.
