Im need of assistance in my car audio set up.
I just received an Alpine MDA-5046 (MD/DSP), and a CDA-7846J(CD HEAD UNIT). Is there a way to try and use the DSP, with my current head unit in my truck instead, which is a Pioneer AVH-X4800BS.

Heres a better view of the dsp, it has a black and yellow wire and an “Ai Net” cable, also looks to have only RCA outputs, is it possible to run the dsp by itself to the pioneer headunit?

Oh shoot. When you took the back pictures the units were upside down, so I thought the DSP had speaker level outputs. A DSP goes between the source and the amplifier; so it needs input and output. It looks like the only input would be the Ai Net cable. I think it is proprietary, so no way to adapt it to the Pioneer. I think the MD/CD controller may have inputs so if you want to use the DSP, you will have to use it with the controller.
Would you verify if the controller has inputs?
