altec lansing tweeters??

Hey my buddy has 2 altec lansing tweeters around 1 to 2 in. we was wondering why nobody has these ... has anybody heard of them and if so do u know anything bout them??? please help:banghead:

Altec Lansing is well known in the home audio field, and computers now. Not sure about there car audio applications though.
