Type X is a good sounding woofer than can take a good bit of power. If you can get JBL in the UK you may look to find the w12 gti sub. They're one of the more highly regarded SQ woofers on the market and also handle a good bit of power.

I think a lot of these direct sale brands don't do international shipping so you may be SOL

If i get the dual 1Ohm FI Q and wire it in series will i be getting 1500w at 2Ohm?

Yes.

The JBL amp makes 1500w at 2ohms, so, as long as you configure your subwoofer to present a 2ohm load to it, that's the power you'll see. Dual 1ohm voice coils, wired in series, make a 2ohm load.

Agree. Nothing against the type x but love the w12gti. It would look good pounding off of that amp. I would dial back the gain a tad though. It won't need all of that to sound good.
