alpine type x or mtx 8500???

I'm personally gonna be a type-x man in a few days, but in all honesty, the people on this forum that have been dissapointed with the type-x's are the ones who were only feeding them ~500rms or less, so if the mtx is more efficient, i'd honestly go that route without a new amp.

and im gonna be giving them about 700 rms each. so unless u dont get more power, id stick wt the 8500, as much as i don't like the sub.

With my exerience with my X i still don't think you will be giving those Type X's enough power even at 700w. At the moment I'm giving mine about 1100w rms and it seems like it's begging for more. I got my second one yesterday I know I'm gonna have to upgrade on the power. Good luck man. Hope it sounds sweet.
