Alpine Type R

I recently bought 1 10in Type R with a alpine ALPINE MRP-M450 MONO AMPLIFIER, will that amp really bump this sub at 2homs? Thanks.

The paper work it came with says 8 or 2. SWR-1042D

Therefore it will be 400watts RMS to sub. I dont want it crazy loud. i just want quality

Yeah, that was just confusing.

It's a dual 4-ohm sub. So 2 ohms is doable.

Still don't know if that's enough power, just because i don't have experience with the r's.

how about you just put it in see how you like it if you don't then sell and get another amp clear and simple I wouldn't say its enough but I also like to get stupid loud but if you just want quality I say it should be enough spend some money on a good install and PORTED BOX

I have a 12" Type R with the MRP-M350 @ 2ohms. In a 1.72cu box ported to ~31hz. It's in a hatchback and it bumps pretty good. It all depends on the type of car you have and the type of box it's going in.
