Alpine Type R or Sundown SA 12

my new amp is on its way alpine M500, and i only have room for 8g. power wire in my semi truck (not drilling any holes, company truck) so im gonna run that amp only, cant go bigger

i was actually looking at those last night...... 300 rms and im sure they are underated
I have a pair (actually 5) of BNIB Alpine Type E 12"s that'll wire to 2 ohms and are 250rms each. They only require 1.25 cubes per sub ported. You sure you can't fit a pair? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif $120 shipped for both!

i only have about 500 rms to work with.... so im looking for a sub to reach its full potential off that
With 500watts RMS, I'd look into running the new Alpine Type-S (now rated for 500watts, with 15mm xmax), previous generation 2010 Alpine Type-R (1243d/1223d), or an Infinity Kappa 120.9w (rated for 350watts RMS, but seems to have problems with taking a bit over its rated power, 450watts in my case., 500-600wrms would be perfect for it IMO).

look at the PSI platform 1

I have a Sa-12 running off a jl 500/1 and it sounds amazing and move tons of air for 1 12 and altho it murders the lows it still play punchy bass notes very well (over 50 hz) had to tame it by crossing @ 55 hz. The old RE SE i had before didnt move as much air and wasnt punchy at all anything over 50 hz wasnt that loud even crossed @ 80 hz...
