Clipping/volume is way to high. Set your gain and EQ's properly.

ok got another problem was looking at the subs and it seems one will go down more than the other everything is hooked up correctly and both amps are set exactly the same what wrong and could i have a bad sub?

depends on your setup. i run my hifonics at full tilt for 20+ mins sometimes without overheating them. they are getting ~700watts each but rated at 600. whats your box like?

X's 2 I run my 12" brutus subs on a 2010d with 1000 rms per sub with a 600 rms rating and never get coil smell. but the box is built and tuned for the subs. so take their advice and do it the right way with a tone and a decent dmm.

ok everythings good now... i called tech support about it they said im running them basicly wide open to long and the coils cant take it like that so i just have to control myself and the volume but man i love the bass......and my sub is ok i can see the coil gotten pretty hot before it half black half normal color that i can see and it worked fine outside the box i think it was because the box was broke and was leaking all over i fixed that to day and i know i run sentences on dont hate tho =)

youre clipping them for too long probably. an r should take 500 clean watts running wide open all day long
