Alpine Type r 5.25" comps

I have a 12" type r sub, alpine mrp-m350 amp, and I am going to be installing an alpine hu in a few weeks. I have been looking into getting these components for my car (03 cav). What i want to know is...how much power do they require...and do I need to re-wire my car, or can I use the existing wiring? Thanks.

i got a 98 cavi and i rewired, cuz im running them off an amp

there gettin prob 55-60w rms, amp is underrated

No need to rewire...it will provide piece of mind, but nothing else. Those comps don't need any more than about 70 wrms per side.
