I just blew my speakers, Anyone have opinions on new?

Well the crossover on one of my rockford fanatic x comps just went. I can fix it but I dont want to right now. I am looking for 6 1/2" (maybe 7) midbass drivers and some silk tweeters. I don't want components or rather crossovers. I want just the speakers that each handle 75-100rms at 4 ohms or 150-200rms at 2 ohms. My deck has all the DSP i need going to a 4 channel. I was thinking of spending 300$ but that is pretty loose if they are good enough. Possibly upwards of 500$.

I want something that will sound excellent in door pods and the tweets will most likely be put in the a pillars. Nothing to harsh for tweets and the big drivers need to provide a flat response down to where my 15's are crossed over.

Hmm you could pretty much check out most of the CDT lineup. I have the EF-61CF's and they are very nice for the price.

Also in your price range would be Diamonds, Focals, or Rainbows. Diamond makes great stuff, if I had had the extra money when I was buying speakers I would have either gone with them, Rainbows, or the CDT ES line.

that won't work. I am looking for pure drivers, 4 or 2 ohm. No passive crossovers, I am already running active. I actually lose control if I add more.
