Alex's Silverado

They are. I just wouldn't want to run them for three subs. The Wardens don't even like the power they have now
I was thinking I could run two amps strapped to one coil of each sub, and then two strapped to the other coil of each sub. Seems sketchy tho.....
Sounds like a bad idea...

Just build a new box already it's almost summer

Yeah, I'll probably end up doing both.

Will be about $150 in materials for me to re-do the wall plus my time. I've got a full sheet of birch, lots of metal pipe, and 5 gallons of resin. I'll just need 50 more 2x4's and some more titebond 2

Had a single Mojo 15" on a crunch powerzone 3000amp. Had 140a fusing on amp so 1400watt and sis 146db... This was years ago in my dad 2001 Silverado ext cab box sub up, port up no deadener at all stock HU. Lol

**** you should be doing higher numbers than that with a single sub and single amp.
Had no time to test a range of frequencies, lol. Two 30 second runs was it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

I can't keep the Wardens and get the most out of my four 7k's.
Can't wire four amps to the three subs. If I ran two Wardens, there's no way they could handle 2 7k's each. They don't even like one of them for too long.
could very well be the box fking your power handling up. My subs handled multiple 42hz utterly clipped burps at 2.4% THD just fine, no stink whatsoever.. However if i pushed it that hard on music with stuff lower than 40hz, things get stinky real fast.

Mind giving us your box specs, design, port area and dimensions again? would be some handy knowledge for future silverado builds.

I'd have to go re-measure.

Right now, I'm thinking about this for my next rebuild:

Keep the wardens

Wire them up to the 4 7k's

3:1 ratio 4th order

I'd make the sealed section 10 cubes and the ported section 30 cubes. Then, I'd stuff the sealed section full of polyfill. I've got 3 garbage bags full of polyfill in the basement that was from a couch.

thats a plan. I'd advise you to build the sealed section first and do a sweep on the meter to see where's your peak at then build the ported section or make some compromises with the sealed section if you want more lows. If you want to make a more technical box.

Same. I only got to try two songs though, so I might be louder at another frequency.
"Freak No More" by Migos slowed, I clamped 11k total and only got a 146.0! That's my loudest demo song. It makes the doors flop though, so I might have lost some score there //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Gains were set the same as the first amp I ran to all three of them. They're 7k amps wireed to .35 each..... You expect a 3" coil sub to be happy about that? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Yeah, I wish I would've had more time to test songs

Going to do two Sundown Team neo 18's in a 4th order
i'm not trying to be a **** or anything but you have 3 ****** woofers. they are more than capable. i think you just gotta find the right alignment. spend 100 on the analyzer and keep the 21s. Im pretty sure they have a usable QE and FS.

kinda ***** that massive spl is louder than you but he had it catered so don't feel bad. it takes time and testing. start off with one and build a box for it and test it and tweak it. ive had problems getting those trucks loud until i did some good old testing

Came home to this on our front porch //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
