alarm / door lock problem

I have an alarm that has power door lock/unlock and I have aftermarket actuators. The alarm has been working fine but one day, all four of the power locks stopped working.

I had the Clarion alarm checked by their technicians who said everything is working. I checked my relays and I hear a clicking sound from them when I arm/disarm the car. So I think the problem is the actuators...

I don't understand how all the actuators would go down when their hooked up independently to the relays. And to get them re-done, its costing me too much..

I don't believe it is the actuators. They all can't go out at the same time. If the same place that installed the alarm did the locks too, b!tch loudly until they fix them. Otherwise, have whoever installd the locks fix them. If you did it...then...pay someone else to fix it...I guess. I have the same set up in my Cavalier, different alarm though.

If you say you hear the relay, then see if there is a fuse between it and the actuators. Either way it is a common problem shared by all locks...what else do they have in common? Your alarm is good 'cause you know that the signal is getting to the realy, so it's between there and the actuators. Trace the wires and see what you come up with.

Again, if you paid for the installation elsewhere, besides a buddy or something (some ligit place) demand that they fix it.

I appreciate the response... Actually, a friend of a friend installed it for dirt cheap and he moved so I don't have his new number... but I went to a car audio shop who suggested that it may be the actuators...

I was planning to get the alarm re-installed but its costing me $150 which is not worth it since the alarm itself is working perfectly...

I looked at the wiring and see no fuse connected between the actuators and the relays but I may be wrong... i'll check again..... Any other suggestions??

To be honest, I don' t really know that much about alarms. That was all I can suggest.
