Advice/Questions new system

I have a stock battery but I just put it in last year bought it from O rillys so it is relatively new.Yes I was thinking of only doing 2 of the 3 because the 3rd one was confusing.. I can do ALT to batt easily and batt to ground easily.. But the other one about the motor is confusing so I might just go with the 2,
Engine to ground is arguably the most important of the three. You can alternatively use the alternator case to ground. This connection grounds out the alternator case, which is usually grounded through the engine block to the chassis by a tiny wire

the big 3 isnt confusing ur makin it harder than it has to be buddy..step 1 run fused power wire from alt to positive battery terminal..step 2 run ground from case bolt on alt to negative on battery ..step 3 run ground from the frame to the negative battery terminal...dont ground to block of engine
out of curiosity, why does 2 of the big 3 have to do with ground?

And so when im done Ill be having 3 connections to my negative battery terminal correct? (stock neg to ground)(neg to alt neg)(neg to ground again)

yea because the engine is mounted in big.rubber mounts not.the greatest condductor ....that why alt case is better

Engine to ground?

Isnt the engine already grounded? Why would I connect a ground to a ground? I could see if it was the battery to ground..

Or am i getting lost. hahhahahaha

Either one works if done correctly but alt case is a whole lot easier to get to on my car. And I'd rather do alt case anyway because its more direct

Okay thanks, last questions does the VOLT METER plug into... a speaker output on amp? Or where in the amp do I plug it?
get a good one with 3 wires they r simple ...power ground remote all on amp that way it turns in and off when the amp does

Put it with the power wire that's coming from your battery and ground it wherever you want
nah that tells u what the cars voltage is and not.the voltage at the anp which is what u wana monitor
