Well my ride is a mint condition 1986 Olds 98 sedan with 68000 mi. I went with the Kenwood Excelon KDC-X395 (22 watts rms x 4) which powers my 4 midrange speakers. In my dash I have 3.5's and went with Sound Ordnance™ P-35 which hold 25 watts rms, and in the rear deck instead of 6x9's I decided to use a adapter plate and went with 6.5" Kenwood KFC-G1620 which hold 30 watts rms. Then I bought a bass package which came with two 10" Kenwood KFC-W2513PS subs that hold 300 watts rms each in a Sound Ordnance sealed box with a Kenwood KAC-8105D which is a 500 watt rms class D mono amp. The whole system with installation was around $850. As for dynamating my trunk I was told I didn't need it due to only pushing 500 watts out of there (which I agree) Overall I like it however I wish I would have went with a set of 100 watt rms 6.5 Alpine speakers in the rear deck along with a 2 channel Rockford Fosgate 100x2 rms amp. Well what do you think and remember I'm married with kids so yes I have a budget lol.

these is alot of money you can save if you just install your stuff your self, its not really hard, but if not there are also lots of different brands that aren't so expensive that could have done the same in my opinion. But i agree with cdc^^ if you like it than who cares.

sounds fine for entry level ****. when you want more start looking at brands you cant get at BEST BUY. If youre happy with the way it sounds, thats all that matters.
