Advice on 2006 Ford f150

I planned on using a custom made box that was already had 2 12" shallow kicker subs under my seats. This guy at a popular car audio store is telling me that there is only enough for 1 smaller JL 10" to get proper air space. He says I could put 2 shallow 12's but it won't sound as good and it will put the subwoofers in danger of blowing out. I don't know if you guys are familiar with the small amount of space underneath 2006 Ford f150's, but there isn't much. Any help would be much appreciated. I need to put a system in ASAP. I can't stand living without bass.

I have the same problem with my 04. If I had to guess, this shop sells JL? Either way, I have not found a solution yet. I don't want to go with anything less than 2-12"s though.

Ya it's a bunch of douche's in there. I found a box online for 2004 and up for 2 shallow 12"s and it comes with 2 shallow kickers.

I'm getting ready to buy an '07 F150. I've been looking into the available options and about the only thing I can pass on is to install seat risers. There is a shop that sells them in different heights. 2" should allow enough clearance to build a box big enough for a 12" under the driver and passenger rear seating areas. Mount your amps behind the seat back against the back wall.
