Im never getting another FWD car again. My next car is either a LS1 SS Camaro or WS6 ***** Am. I dont plan on selling this car ever, it wouldnt be worth it. My car runs a 15 second 1/4 mile stock. I should be in the low 14s when im done.

Good choices there. Both are solid cars with good modification responce. I personally HATE FWD.. hate the feel of it and really hard to get traction off the line. All my DSMs were AWD for both launching and just plain security when driving down the road in bad conditions.

Actually a stock 93 Saturn SC runs an 18 second 1/4 mile.. just looked it up. But, if you go through with all these mods go ahead and do a run and post the new time you get.. its always fun to see how much you can shave off the stock time.

yep, the Firebird and Camaro are basically the same car.

I dont know where you got 18 seconds from, but thats totally off. I think you looked at the SC or the SC1 or the SL1 because all of those cars have an 86hp engine. Ive got the SL2 with a wopping 125hp..

Do you see who I bolded? That guy is on my forums that I go to and his car is basically stock with the exception of an exhaust system, lightweight flywheel,a ported & polished head, and underdrive pullies which have proved to do jack shit for our cars.

If you look at the 2nd link is where I pulled it from and I did pull the wrong one I pulled a SC model and not your SL model by misake. Thats prolly why it came up with 18 seconds.. for some reason I had SC in my head.

You are right the base and 1 models have the SOHC while the 2 models have the DOHC so that would make sense
