True but if I build it much deeper I lose leg room and I'm 6"2. One thought I had in mind was to remove the middle portion seating area. I have bucket type seats with a middle seating area. What I thought about doing was removing that and have a box built in between the seats. Should be plenty of room to build a nice ported box. Could fire the sub forwards, upwards or even downwards. Sound crazy? And I could always go with a beefier sub and more power like my Hifonics amp.

I don't mind changing the sub out. It can go in my wife's SS Trailblazer and I'll put a proper amp on it.

12.5 inches wide, 30 inches long to front of seat and back to cab, 9 inches tall to sit flush with seat but it can easily go a few inches taller if need be.

I'm taking any and all recommendations on a setup change for subs. What would you guys do if it was your truck. Single cam 2006 Silverado.
