I just picked up a Solo X 18" with a Visionik v4000xd. All my previous systems blew up so I want to do it properly this time. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif
What I have so far:
-Kinetik HC2400 in trunk
-Regular car battery under hood
-Big 3 under hood done with dual 4 gauge.
-Stock alternator (~110A)
-0 gauge wiring from front battery to back battery.
-300 Amp fuse under hood (for front battery to back battery)
I also have all RCA's and Speaker system setup and amplified already.
I'm not 100% sure if the solo x is a dual 1 ohm or a dual 2 ohm.
Heres how the power inputs are labeled:
Coil 1 - 1 Ohm
Coil 2 - 1 Ohm
Other two plugins aren't labeled with anything.
I would assume this means its Dual 1 ohm", but the guy I bought it off was saying its a Dual 2 ohm.
What I need to get:
-Another 8-12 feet of 0 gauge. For Amp to battery, and Battery grounds.
-A new battery for under the hood. I was thinking a Optima Red Top.
-Beef my up alternator to a high output one.
-A custom box to fit this monster in my Supercoupe.
-8-15 ft of 4 gauge. Sub to amp.
-Another fuse. Back battery to Amp.
I'm hoping to run 3500 RMS with this setup. Would this electrical system be enough?
Am I missing anything?
What size fuse should be going from the back battery to amp?
Any comments / concerns so I don't blow this one up? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Thanks.
