hmm never really thought about it until recently but..

say you have two dual 1 subs

is there any difference wiring down each to .5 then up to 1 rather than up to 2 down to 1? if you get what I am saying?

I would assume since final load is the same it should be the same.. but I could be wrong..

i understand what your say each sub is either 2 ohm each or .5 ohm each then you wire the .5 each in series to get a 1 ohm finaly load or the 2 ohms in parallel to get the same 1 ohm load, i have no idea if it matters or not.

theoretically series has better dampening but then the parallel throws it back up so no i doubt there is any real world difference

load is load to the amp.

remember you are dealing with AC volts with changing frequency

just thought I would check.. with the load being the same I figured it was the same but wanted to know for sure..
