You think I am over powering the sub? Hell I turned most the gain down on it and it still did it. So I dont know how it could be that.if you have a leak in your box, ime, it will sound like port noise or a fluttering fuzz/buzz sound
i doubt thats what you hear, esp using 1000 watts with a spec box
bet your sub will reach full output with around 700 or 800 watts in that box
and i think the Q was in 2.2 ported, in the 12" test
how much can you make it move before you hear anything weirdYou think I am over powering the sub? Hell I turned most the gain down on it and it still did it. So I dont know how it could be that.
I will have them take it out and check it to make sure. It is supposed to be a d2 so my amp can run down to 1ohm.which VC do you have and check the coils with a DMM> How do you have the sub wired check that. You could be runnin the one coil
Seats fold down, plus I have had my head right next too it and still cant figure it out. Actually sounds cleaner when I am closer. It might be the box is not deep enough. Is 10deep, so that is only allowing me 3 inches, which should be enough. I hope.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gifit s\could be something vibrateing suppose? play test tones @ medium volume, when the 'noise starts put that tone on repeat and get in the back and fnd out where EXACTLY the sound is comeing from, maybe the cone is tappng the back of the seat or smething in on the rear shealf 'sounds' like overexcursion?
