I just had a shop install a Alpine 9815 HU, and an Alpine MRV-F340 4 Channel Amp.
They used channels 1 and 2 for the fronts, the HU for the rears and briged 3 and 4 for my single 10" sub. The sub is always on and the hu's sub level control has no effect. The installer says this is because of the bridging and the only way to get the level control to work is to give the sub its own amp. Is this true.
