'97 Town Car "King Kongs" *No56k*

wow, that's nasty. and why are the braces against walls, i mean, it's already braced there. the braces are supposed to be out where the panel might actually flex.

oh well, the inside of your enclosure, matches the inside of your head. fairly freaking empty, completely ugly and useless.

You Are Super Mature!

Wowzer!

BTW, have you ever heard of a baton? Or do you even know what one does? I could make some low blows here too, but I geuss I'm one of thoes juvie kids you where spewing about. Wait a minute...who was the Juvie around my age?

Go to DIYAudio.com and check out some of their builds if you want to see how to brace an enclosure properly //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Note - they don't use 45* pieces...

45's are for air flow/corner reenforcement. Battons are for panel flexing. I dont like putting a lot of bracing in the middle unless it is thread rod because it blocks air flow and looses on the mic. There is a batton on every pannel, 45's all around, and a single brace in the middle going from top to bottom. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

There will still be some panel flex but nothing too bad. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

oh, by all means, spew away. (and i've admitted to being immature and even posted earlier i would be to stay at your level) take all the low blows you want.

and yeah, i've got a baton, and if i hit you with it, you'd break. but don't sweat it, i'll stay an e-thug.

as far as your baton/bracing goes, your an idiot. the existing parallel panel that your "baton" is next too is already bracing the perpendicular panels at that point. if you wanted to brace the parallel panel, go perpendicular to it. and mic score means dick in reality. unless he plans on serious competing, the extra tenth you might gain by your poor bracing isn't going to amount to squat for your friend. and if he was going to be serious, that's not the right car, enclosure, power, etc. so why not just brace it properly and be done with it? oh wait, it's a waste of time, right?

but what do we know? we aren't cbfryfag, the almighty knowitall. if you got anymore ignorant, i wouldn't go to jail for killing you, it would be considered a mercy slaying for all humanity. hell, i might get a medal. again, don't sweat it, i'll stay a keyboard commando for you sister.

your a douche.....

I literally almost fell out of my chair laughing!

Let he who is without sin throw the first stone right?

So you admit that I will gain with my bracing, even if it is a little bit, but then you bash it? For what? The box isnt going to buzz like a poorly constructed fiberglass enclosure and any loss ins SQ wont really matter. The car has more plywood between the trunk and the cab than between myself and my neighbor's living room.

You where on ignore untill someone sent me a link to your comments about all us juvie kids over here. I took you off to read and now I think I'm going to leave you off so I can continue to get a good giggle out of your comments.

I have to say I would have done a "baton" to limit large panel flexing wayyyyy before I'd have done the piles of c0ck and poop etc in the corners that you have there.

And I'm a n00bjob.

The corners if sealed/glued/screwed properly are the strongest part of the box. The middle of the largest panels are what you have to worry about with flexing

That proves every point mrray is trying to make

No. Every point Kent is trying to make is that I'm a monkey with some power tools and I should dance to every SPL/install word he types. Panel flex isn’t always bad for SPL. That is one thing Kent taught me...well actually that was Ramos. Ramos went about it with some respect. Of course Ramos doesn’t act like the majority of my peers either.

The goal of this system is to shake windows and possibly bassrace. Clear mids and highs where also asked for. I am delivering. Kent things I should do it his way because he has been building for the evers.

He started out with screws are going to keep this 170dB beast box together. Then once that theory was thrown out the window he decides to attack the bracing which was preplanned in the enclosure design. But you know, the only thing he can say about me is the same thing him and all of his E-Friends we should all trust. "I'm teh CBFryman I knowz it all"

Like I said that. I'm willing to learn through constructive criticism, lost argument, etc… Not insult and immaturity. But if he wants to play the immature/insult game I can play it too.
