Nice. Hope it helps out. Anything new on your side to tell us. Or same things going on. Got to ask too. Did you install the correct T state too. I know when you go up to the parts counter ask for a part some times you just dont get the right part. happen to me today ask for a belt for my dakota at the napa store. So wrong not even close to being the right length. It happens.

Its still doing the same thing. I'm pretty sure I got the right thermostat, because it said "180" on it. Ill keep messing with it when I get a chance.

Blow out the radiator.

Sounds like a water pump to me. A buddy of mine had a similar problem and it was his fan sensor not coming on at idle, thus revving it higher pumped more water and compensated for the lack of fan.
