Couple problems...

one -

when coming to a stop , occasionally my rpm's will drop to like 300 and feel like its going to shut off , then jump right back up to ~750rpm's. then the same thing when i go to take off from a complete stop. why is this?

it never has shut off *knocks on wood* , and it does this on occasion. maybe a sensor?

two -

my AC used to blow out of all vents and work fine (except for the heater , who needs it in miami anyways?) , now it only blows out of the dash defrost vents and the floor vents no matter what setting its on. this has happened before as well , but when i took it to the shop for something else , it was fixed. they never said anything about it and i wasnt charged for anything AC related. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

the blend door runs off vacuumn in you car and when they fixed your car they prolly fixed the vacumn leak which could also be the reason you had the stutter problem.

 
yup and if thats not the issue you have a tps problem or a problem that happens with talons is the valve cover check vavle gets stck and makes you car act gay damb i forgot what it is called damb but check them ill get back when i remember what its called adn adjust you idel air control valve sort iav it should be a philips or flat head screw next in you throttel body up top or on the side k and vacuum leaks are major in this case

 
Is this for your 96 blazer? If so you there is no adjustment for your IAC sensor. Only if you push it back but then thats somthin your not supposed to do. Most likey needs to be cleaned if thats the problem. Does your vehicle feel like its miss firing when you are at these stops?

The AC thing is mostly what they said some one fixed a vacum line small one and then it worked. But you are saying its stuck in dash defrost and floor all at that same time? see if Im getting that right from reading your post..

And this is for your 96 blazer?

 
where should i look first for the vacuum leak?i have very limited mechanic skills , but i do have some...
Well for your blazer look around the engine area for thin black rubber hoses to thin black plastic hoses. And see if any go into the firewall. Just trace them around and see if any are broken or the rubber lines dried splitting. Have you done anything with the dash lately like put a radio in speakers? Listen for any whistle noises.

O yeah I dought its miss firing just somthin I have to ask being I am not there you know. Have you had any hard start problems.

What motor is it a 4.3? Could get you a vacum hose diagram tomorrow when Im at I'll pm it to you. Will also check out about the rpms too.

 
i did a quick once over and didnt see anything. ill look again in a few.

the radio has been in there for quite some time now and this has happened while it was already installed , so i know its not that.

no starting problems.

i just remembered i do have a haynes manual somewhere around. ill go through there as well and see if that says anything.
