jbl bp 600.1 puts out 700+ and is stable down to 1ohm. very nice amps.

some1 is selling a 1000d for like $210 plus shipping. Awesome amp for the money. Will do about 1400 @2ohms at 14v.

I wouldn't say way too small. With properly sets gains and a clean source I could easily see 500w making an M6 12" sound good. Mine sounds pretty good to me off of 600w. Will they take more? Besides - blowsoot has a 10" not a 12".

blowsoot ~ You could look around eBay for an amp like I run. They'll give you 600w @ 2 ohms reliably. I've seen them going in the neighborhood of $150 or so here recently. The deal bimma mentioned is likely a decent deal but I think 1400 watts would prove a bit much for your 10" sub.

The reason you've been asked about a proposed budget is because your description of looking for a "clean good amp" is a very relative thing to most of us here. Jack's suggestions of Brax, Audison, and Helix would certainly give you a 'clean good amp' but your wallet would be feeling decidely stung after the purchase. There are numerous other alternatives that are good buys for the money but in a much different price bracket than Jack's aforementioned ideas.

I was looking into Directed. I been using PPI Amps forever got a PC2600.2 and PC250. but the rca connectors on the amp are bent and loose dunno if I can fix or what. Im not looking into high insane dollar amps not worth it too me.
