700+RMS@2ohm amp, what would be best?

Im looking for an amp that runs atleast 700RMS @ 2ohm. So far the USX1000D looks like a good buy, $400 is alot..but if i can't find one that can match it then I suppose I'll buy it. Anyone know of any amps similar to this for aroudn $300-$350? I'd buy used amps...if you know anyone that has some for sell...

I got my MTX 81000D from etronics.com for $350, it is rated at 500 rms @ 4 and 1000 rms @ 2, but it was very underrated, it is 729 @ 4 and 1225 @ 2 rms

There are some nice older kicker amps on ebay right now. they have been factory refurbished. i just got ahold of a RB ZR600 and it is in excellent condition. These amps are highly underrated and very well built.

that is what sucks about the mtx. it isnt stable at 1 ohm. mine did 746 at 4 ohms and 1204 at 2 ohms at 12.5 volts, ive seen them do 1500+ at 14.5 volts or so. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

The Lanzar Optidrive 1000.1D's are getting hard to find, but they show up on ebay from time to time. The refurb's used to go for about 220 shipped - new for about 250 I believe. Rock solid amps - outside of ebay they sold for about 400. 700rms @ 2 ohms and 1000 at 1. Anywhere from 10-30% under-rated - nice controls and strappable if you need a TON of power.

The 1200D isn't the same quality as the Opti, but it's easy to find on ebay for around 200. Pretty accurately rated at 750 rms @ 2, 1200rms @ 1.
