69 chevelle build thread

a car a little different than normal...

well, after scouring the forums for good deals and scoring some big craigslist victories, its time to start my 69 chevelle build up. the system will consist of 2 dd3512s powered by a sundown 3000d, 2 sets of HAT imagines powered by a sundown 100.4, a kinetik 1800 up front and a 2400 in the rear, with 2 runs of both + and - from front to rear viz kicker 1/0.

spent 4 hours yesterday cutting the mdf, and 6 today assembling everything but the top(ran out of liquid nails haha)

Sweet ride man, Chevelles are my favorite classic, but I'm partial to 66/67 El Camino's and Malibus. I'm most likely going to be picking up a 66 Malibu project sometime next week. Will be many years before it looks as good as yours though haha

System should sound pretty **** good. What's under the hood and what not?
