6" - 7" sub or mid sub in a 1.5 - 2.0 ohm dvc

I'm looking for a 6 to 7 inch sub or mid sub in a 1.5 to 2 ohm dvc configuration. The only one I can find is the Bazooka WF621.5DV. Does anyone have other suggestions? Prefer a better build quality than the Bazooka offering.

Where are you going to install these? You want the HD-6MDVC if it must be a dual voice coil driver. That one has 2 4 Ohm coils. The sensitivity is quite low so be prepared to put on ~150W per driver.

no but you can get them in a 2 ohm coil

That's the problem. Trying to stay with a Ford oem amp that is presently paired with 1.2 ohm speakers. I've been trying to find higher quality, better sounding replacements. Cannot find anything tht works with the factory amp. It's a Mustang Shaker 500.

most speakers and subs aren't at the ohm levels they are shown any way ,most are a bit lower .dont think they will be at 1.2 ,but maybe 1.7

Would wiring both channels to the HD-6F work satisfactorily? Does that speaker have good efficiency?
