5k hz on a sub

does that mean if i take one of my eminence tweeters and play 30-100hz then itll be a uber woofer!??!?!?!?!? for only 20 dollars?!?!?!?! zOMG:yumyum:
LOL

when i tested my sub just to see if it works i was playing music and i could hear vocals and all.... but its awfull sounding..lol

Would a sub even respond to that high of a frequency?
i think the piece of shit Sony's play to 2khz, i remember bein at best buy and hearin voices come out of them, go to look at the crossover thing and sure enought itwasn't set for lowpass lol

Playing frequencies on a woofer higher than it is designed to play...isn't that called cone breakup? Sounds like crap, haha.

I have a pair of Aura bass shakers. I had them hooked up to my futon in my dorm room and I played them full range once for the heck of it. You could hear the voices coming from the futon, it was the freakiest thing ever.
