500$ Build?

Ok, So i have a 1993 Jeep Wrangler, Already have the deck, and putting a 4ga wiring kit in...so My question is, what should i put in for subs and amp?

Budget is 500 dollars...give me some ideas

your choice of kicker CVR CVX or alpine Type-R with a box to fit ur needs. search to find out what box fits u. subs should run from 160-300 tops.

a good box can run a lot or a little depeding on if u can build or kno some1 or have to take it to a shop.

tahts 500 on substage right there ur front stage is all on u on a sperate budget

this is actully going in a buddies car not mine...that audiopipe a good amp? i know they are talked about alot on this site...i have personally never used one...and yeah, already been looking at type r's but it would be cool to do something that not many people have around here...most people here run like kicker, alpine, rockford lol...all mainstream...

What kind of sound does your buddy want? Does he want more sq oriented bass or does he just want it to get as loud as possible?

for most people a single 10 or 12 is plenty. maybe 500rms or so???

I say an Re Se 10 or 12, i have a 10 in a 1 cube ported to 30hz and it sounds really good, tattles the interior just enough and sounds really good.

ok, sorry i should have said what he was looking for, to put this into perspective, i have 3 12"s in my truck, he likes it, he wants bass more than sq...so i am thinking like 2 12's...not enough bass to blow a window outl lol, but to rattle his jeep...it is his first stereo, i just want to do him right

With the wiring you said your doing this is the biggest set up.I would do with stock electrical only because i hate dimming and i got this lil set up to pull a 142db out of the trunk of my buddys car on the termlab:laugh:
