'moral victory' means absolutely nothing if it has zero practical application. Why not just claim we won the war on drugs...pass a law saying its done and over with. Should solve the countries drug problems according to your logic. Shit lets start claiming we won the Vietnam war to, it would make me feel better.

Because most people don't give 2 sh_ts about the war on drugs.. They have better things to worry about than that, like who is gonna win American Idol.

I am talking about morally crippling any illegal immigration cause and sympathy. I want them to understand that their being here and their voice as criminals mean absolutely nothing because American citizens are not behind them.. That the hand that has fed them for years is not slapping them in the face..

To me, I want their thoughts of being accepted and allowed to stay here and or granted citizenship; to be as helpless as a French town watching a Tiger tank division roll towards it with a legion of troops behind the tanks..

I want them to be helpless, be ashamed, be humiliated, and be viewed as the felons they are..

See I never said anything about race, I think your are automatically assuming I mean people of a different color when I talk about illegals. I mean ALL illegals, reguardless of shape, size, color, ****** orientation, etc! Yes the mass majority are brown skinned, but so am I. My ancestors came here in 1519 and just sort of became legal Americans when America became America.. We were here loooong before most northern Europeans came here legally or illegally..

Yes I do break the law, almost every weekend, but right now I just want to get on the illegal bandwagon because it gives me something to do. Also, because it is rather fun to stir the pot..

If we are gonna fight the Patriot Act next week, SWEET, I am for it, but right now its illegals. I know I float from issue to issue, and deep down I really don't care about any issue.

Why do they deserve to be treated soo poorly IMO? Basically because I don't care about them, don't want them here, and think how they came here reflects how much they really respect us, and want to be like us, period, and that answer will just have to do.

You are basically saying we are somehow better than them due to their country of origin and they are deserving of our condemnation.

We are better than they are and their country of origin, if we weren't they wouldn't be coming HERE. They come here for and I quote "a better life for our family" why? Because we are BETTER than their home country and can provide them with work.

We may not be better people or humane or whatever, but on a whole we do contribute more to this society than they ever will.

This country does not need to have a large disconnected lower class of people again, we worked soo hard to get away from that. We are no longer in the agrarian society, nor the industrial, but more of a Serviced Based Economy with highly skilled and educated people.

Our goal isn't to revert back to a poor uneducated society, who are pouty because they are recieving unfare wages and treatment. That's why we have the developing nations do our dirty hard manual labor, minimal jobs.

I just think we need to rethink our policies on letting lesser ideal people into this country reguardless of their origins.

We should think about ourselves first, our interests second, and everyone else third. Because you will prob not like if we became #2 or #3 in the world someday, China and India are creeping up..

^^^ I like what you said except that this people visiting our mansion never left, its like they took up residence in your mansion and our now demanding that they should stay.

Basically someone is in your house, eating your food, watching your tv, and complaining that they should get a bigger bedroom.

Thats a horrible short sighted example and here is why. The people at the party in your example all do nothing but horrible destructive things. So in your example the only Mexicans coming over are bad welfare seeking bums only looking for a free ride. That is simply not the case, the vast majority of them come here looking for work, not a free ride. At worst they are an economic wash if not a boost; they are not a drain on the economy.

You assume that anyone coming here from Mexico is bad...i don't think anyone is inherently bad just because of where they were born.

I never said the United States wasn't a million times better than Mexico you idiot. I said that we, people born in the United States, are not inherently better than those born in Mexico. I am not superior to someone just because they were born a few hundred miles to the south.

To assume that they are somehow inferior and not capable of becoming productive member of society is racist. You are assuming that they are not capable of assimilating into our economy and having a positive influence.

Again i will repeat that the immigration system is broken but to just say 'make them all criminals and get em out' is naive, ill conceived and ignorant.

We need to implement a multi faceted approach of controlling the border, guest worker program, and trying to get the ones here to assimilate instead of isolate themselves.

And we have always had a large disconnected class of people, it has never went away. However, that is a much broader topic. I have stated several times already we don't want to harbor a large population of disenfranchised people. Hence the need for incentives for the ones here to assimilate into our population.

We don't need a guest worker program for these types of people, sure if your a Dr. from Cuba or Teacher from Russia, Archt. from Japan, ok come on in! If your a fruit picker or whatever, stay in your own country and be a burden to them. We have enough "minimal people" here and we don't need any more.

How about we make the ones here criminals AND work on a new approach towards immigration policies and what not.
