Would I be better off getting an amp to push AROUND 2,000 watts at .5 ohm or one that can push around 2,000 at 2 ohms (Being able to at 2 ohms would probably implyinh over 2,200 at 1 ohm)

If so, what would be some good amp ideas? Orion 1200/2500, Lanzar opti 2000d, mtx thunder 1501... any other ideas? Also, budget does some into consideration. Anything under 350 would be very awesome... Lol Even under 300 would be awesome.

2ohm would be easier given impedence rise, heat etc etc. you'll never see a .5ohm load even if you wired to that.

closest that I personally like and own is a d300hc. 1750@2ohm 14.4v, all packaged into an amp the size of a stack of paper.

u would want a 2ohm amp....its much easier on the electrical system

i u will pull less amps from your alt if u have 2000 at 2ohms

Lol dude isn't a vr2000d like.... a grand or so? Or like... 700/800$ That's a little too much when I could get an amp for much cheaper and probably be just as happy, if not more so.
