Who's out there running the AQ 3500 at 0.5 ? I'm curious how it holds up in a daily setup.

Im running the 2200s @ .5 right now daily, idk if id reccommend it too just anyone, but theyll do it and make an assssload of power.

^^^I've known people to burp the 2200's at .25 ohm...

and the beauty of getting amps that can provide the power of 4k watts at 2ohms is you can drop it down later in the future for new subs or if you have the electrical down to .5 and then have tons of more power

Ma audio makes a amp .5ohm stable out the box. And I believe it makes 1800rms at .5ohms. I just can't seem to find the model number right now. But they will probably fit your budget too.

That would be the 401xs does 1800@.5 i believe rated for 14.4 volts

Just cuious how much current do these things pull .5 compared to 1ohm. I am planning on running two VFL's 500.1's with 2 300amp alts and 4-6 powermaster xs batts and just wondering if i should run .5 or 1ohm for daily on 4 15's
