.5 ohm daily amps?

Two dual2 can be wired to 8, 2, and .5. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
And amps wired to .5 daily don't last too long.
How do you wire it to 8ohm?

And manyyyyyy amps wired to .5 will last forever.

I had my 200.1 @ .25 daily for a lil over a month

That goes back to my original question. Is it possible to have an amp wired for a .5 ohm load that will last for daily use? Do any .5 ohm stable amps exist. All listed so forare the AB 400.1, AQ 3500, and SAZ 3500. Would they last at .5 ohm daily?

I disagree. I've ran my Atomic 5k at .5 for well over a yr. with no issues. Hell I got 2 strapped at .5(.25 apiece) running daily;)

Yes, so long as you have the electrical to back it up and don't let the voltage drop below 11V on a regular basis.

It all boils down too your electrical.

But yes, they all will given decent elec.

Well, I'm just going from what I've heard from other people... not to mention @ .5 ohms, amps have a tendency to heat up A LOT quicker, which weakens joints. I'm not saying it always happens... but the likeliness of a solder joint failing is much higher running at lower impedances.

Wait to 1 amp?
You can only wire it to 2ohm(series) or .5(parellel) for 1 amp.

Nubixcubes UNITEEE
Wire the subs individually in series, and you'll have 4ohms for each sub. Then wire the subs together in series, and you'll have 8ohms total. I'm not saying it's the good/easy/efficient way to use your mono amp, but it can be done if chosen to.

as long as you know what your doing, and your not a idoit like yourself alot of these amps can be run at .5 daily. i know my AB500.1's never got hot....
